MCB Hawaii - HI
Strategic training and protection
One of the Marine Corps’ most strategic locations, Marine Corps Base (MCB) Hawaii occupies the Mokapu Peninsula of Oahu, Hawaii’s main island. Tactically, this base is the first line of defense for the Pacific coastline of the continental United States.
MCB Hawaii’s main mission is to help sustain combat readiness for the forces stationed here. This includes maintaining realistic land, air and sea training conditions.
Forces stationed here include part of the III Marine Expeditionary Force, which remains headquartered in Okinawa, Japan.
