Logistics Combat Element: Purpose

The Logistics Combat Element provides supplies, services and communication that keep Marine Corps task forces ready 
for any mission.  
 
This group coordinates the delivery and movement of resources, 
such as people, weapons and supplies, for every mission. 
 
Marines in these roles are essential to the total combat power of the Marine Corps. For this reason, there are more Marines in the 
Logistics Combat Element than in any other.
