    Staff Sergeant Lancine Camara is a Marine Corps Recruiter stationed at Recruiting Station Baton Rouge in Louisiana. Born on the Ivory Coast, SSgt Camara immigrated to the United States as a young man. He wanted to become a Marine because he saw it as the best military branch, and after earning the title, he served as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle operator with deployments to the Philippines, Japan and Guam. SSgt Camara shares how he uses his experiences to mentor young men and women on their journeys to enlist in the Marine Corps.
